ResolveX: Unresolved

How to Play

Three rules that govern every session — ownership, matching, and resilience.

Everything in the game revolves around ownership. Each card belongs to one of four quadrants — know whether the stressor is about you or about them.

Internal quadrants

Use these when the stressor is about your reactions, behavior, or feelings — what you control inside yourself.

  • My Actions — set boundaries, say no, exit harmful situations (Boundary Shield).
  • My Emotions — name feelings, breathe, regulate before you respond (lowers Anxiety).

External quadrants

Use these when the stressor projects their behavior, anger, or expectations onto you — what belongs on their side of the line.

  • Their Actions — dismantle the toxic argument with logic (Clarity Impact).
  • Their Emotions — acknowledge their feelings without absorbing blame (Shield + counters bypass manipulators).

Quick turn flow: draw 5 cards · spend 3 energy · End Turn · incoming trigger lands · shield resets · repeat until clarity or burnout.

Pick your archetypal stressor from the selection screen. Use Change Stressor in session options to switch stressors anytime.
